We began shooting Once Upon a Road Trip on the 1st of March 2011 with only one full day of pre-production in the bag, limited funds and a dream to shoot our very first film. Along the way we lost scenes and had to patch it up on the road, luckily David the director is well versed in making road trips fit together on the fly. On the 31st March we wrapped with our final scene in a small bar in Durbanville, since then we have shot with Tobie Cronje as the narrator and after many hours of editing we feel we are sitting with a remarkable little film which we are still trying to complete. As the funds come in we finish the next little bit, we are currently in the process of final mix and hopefully everything will be in the bag by November this year.
This is the First of many films we wish to release under the Banner of Cheap Flicks. David is already writing the first of a trilogy.
